When wine is the topic of conversation one of the first locations that may come to mind is California’s wine country. But did you know that there are 2 wineries that are actually in Hawaii? Yes its true, while there may be a few private vineyards in Hawaii, the two that we know of are the Maui Winery over at Ulupalakua Ranch in Kalua and the Volcano Winery located in where else, Volcano HI. Check em out, as long as you don’t live in a “dry” location they will probably ship to you.
On a similar note you should know that Wave Shoppe offers a really slick wine shirt that has grapes and wine bottles on it. The artwork is well done and the Kona cotton fabric adds to the shirts sophisticated look. Take delight in a Hawaiian wine gift that really compliments the fine wines made in wine country!
Cannot more than agree about the Volcano Winery on the Big Island.
ReplyDeleteWhen visiting Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, pay the winery a visit - actually one does not really pay, it's free tasting - and get a bottle for your dinner at your vacation rental home. You will love it. Aloha, Pua
Aloha Pua,
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. We are going to Oahu in a few weeks for some R&R and to visit with Dale. It even possible that we will have some new pictures and adventures to share. Maybe some food pictures from the Oahu Market (me eating of course) and then its off the Aloha Flea Market...
