Many vacationers head to the costal areas of California or islands in Hawaii for a warm reprieve during the long winter months. The best times to hit the surf in Hawaii are from Labor Day through fall, which are outside the Aloha State’s rainy months (which start in November and end around March, approximately).
With HI having some of the best beaches in the world (California beaches are also nice), daunting volcanoes, towering mountains, glistening waterfalls, and vibrant flowers, the scenery here is nothing short of spectacular, and, at six hours from the West Coast (A.K.A Pacific Seaboard), you can be standing on the island of lanai in short order, watching the sun set behind the Pacific. This Labor Day we are just chilling out with a few friends, with a trip to the always crazy Pacific Beach in San Diego, CA.
Man do I miss the islands! Shaka!
